Outsourced Jobs
So why do you suppose outsourcing of American Jobs have not been in the news as of late? I think both parties (R and D) for what ever reason don’t want to talk about it. Or is it that we are not asking them.
Did you know that the debate bewteen Kerry and Bush (The last I think) the one that they allowed the public to ask questions that were pre-screened, the number one topic (by far) was protecting our borders and illeagal workers. Even though that topic was the most popular I think only one or two questions regarding that came up. I know the debate is old news and I’m not taking sides, my question is why does the media not push this topic when it is on so many minds?
So this leads me to ask would you like to see a label that reads made in America by Americans? Not that it could ever happen, but I heard on a radio show today a women say she would love to see that label.
Have you ever seen a company advertise that way? I have not.
I once hired a contractor that had a fair price. I thought the job would take days. He showed up with a truck load of what could have been illeagal workers and they fininshed in about 6 hours. The guys worked their asses off. But I had no idea he was going to do that, and I’ll bet there were no taxes paid on employment, L&I etc. I wonder if the sales tax I paid was turned over to the state. I’ll hazard a guess it was not. The job was well done and I have no complaints about that, but I think he charged me a fair price that should have been for a couple guys to work for a couple days and pay taxes into the system. It’s not like he said hey I’ll cut you a great deal and bring a truck load of people to work here under the radar.
