So I came across a great website that sells only American Made Products. Here is a quote from the website

Today I was able to add quite a few companies to the Directory of American Made Products. I added a Leather Company, a Bike Company, a Furniture Company, a Company that makes Martial Arts Equpment in America, a Pets Product company, and a few more.

I have many more to add just I don’t have the time to add pages right now. Busy spring with Little League, mowing the lawn, day job! You know, real life!

Looking for American Made Horse Blankets

I was searching your site but could not find any horse blankets (the
protective turn-out kind, not the saddle pads) that are made in the
U.S.

That would be a great item to have. There are lots of horse owners out
there . . . I’m not having much luck finding any companies yet.

Listing of American Products Updates Again

I love it when I get emails from people that are passionate about American Made Products and want me to list their company or refer a company they like for listing.

Last couple weeks have been hectic with the kids home from school for Christmas Break (oh sorry, I mean winter break)and of course football playoffs to watch! But in between all of that some progress was made on the site.

I added a American Made Basket Company, a Specialty Sock Company, a company that makes Wildlife Habitats like Bird Houses, Bat Houses and the like, and lastly a company that makes Do it Yourself Guides in America.

Thanks again for all the suggestions. Most suggestions you folks send in make it to the site unless the company just does not list anywhere on their advertising that they are American Made, or sometimes I find out they make a few things in the US but the buld overseas then I don’t list them. However you will find a few companies on the site that make the bulk in the US and a little from somewhere else. I have kept them listed because it seems like the bulk of the work is done here in the US. I may tag those companies somehow? If you have a suggestion for marking these companies on the site please let me know!

So again thanks to tips from site visitors I’ve been able to add a few more companies to the site and have several more leads to track down.

I was able to add another listing to the Toys Made in the USA page, also the American Made Luggage Page, and created a new catagory for Musical Intruments Made in the USA.

Thanks again to those of you who continue to email me great leads to help the directory grow!

Another great week of adding products made in the USA because of alert site visitors that emailed me about some companies I missed.

So I added a entire new section of American Made Hair Care Products because I was emailed about a company that makes Hair Dryers here in the US. Thanks for the tip!

Also added a Tool Company called Montana Tools to the Tools Made in the USA Page

Added Heritage Guns to the American Made Guns Page

Thanks again for all the tips! I love adding companies to the site!

How long have we been buying lead

Is it just me, or does anyone else wonder how long the Chinese factories have been using Lead Based Paint, and in what else other then toys? Do you really think it has just been for the last year? Do you think one day last year a factory operator said hey I have an idea lets all start using unsafe levels of lead!

Start buying American Made when you can, complain when you can’t!
